Hackers, Builders, and Homies!

Thanks to everyone who pulled up for last night’s kickoff and today’s first build session at TechTown. Ideas are forming, teams are building—and some are still shifting. If you haven’t found your team yet, that’s normal. Day 1 is always messy with teams forming, dissolving, and reforming. Don’t stress.

Tomorrow we’re at NewLab starting at 10AM (schedule ). The work sessions have two goals:
- For active teams: Begin pairing you with mentors and sector experts to refine market and product strategy. To do that, we need to know your target and project focus so we can connect you with the right people.,
- For those still looking: With 30+ people still seeking teams, we’ll run intentional matchmaking, skill-sharing, and discussion so you can find the right fit—or add talent to your project.,

By Monday, projects should be presentation-ready. That’s sooner than it feels. Start tightening your ideas now and practice sharing them with peers.

Lastly, while we’ve highlighted sectors like Accessibility, Healthcare, Food Security, and Advanced Air, the buildathon is open to any idea in mobility. Those categories just reflect where we’ve secured mentors, not limits on your creativity.
